MEG CONNOLLY

Meg Connolly is an anthropology scholar, Nepali sarangi performer, and Research Finance Analyst based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Meg was selected as a FULBRIGHT U.S. Student Program grant in the 2020-2021 cohort for her project highlighting issues of cultural homogenization in ethnically diverse regions of Nepal, although her research was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her primary research interests include, but are not limited to, national identity development and its role in global politics, Newar culture and society in Kathmandu, and issues of caste and marginalization in South Asia.
